It’s been a busy week in Reception as usual! We started off with a new topic ‘all about minibeasts’ by going on a minibeast hunt. We found lots of creepy crawlies around including ladybirds, snails, worms, ants, spiders, stag beetles and lots of woodlice!

We have enjoyed creating some minibeast artwork using natural objects we found in our garden. We also wrote riddles about minibeasts. Can you guess what they are?!

We had our first swimming lesson this week which all the children really enjoyed.

In maths we have been practising doubling by playing a bingo game.

We have been practising some sports day activities too!
