Today Adam Afriyie MP visited the school. Mr Afriyie MP is the member of parliament for Windsor and he kindly agreed to come and meet the children after an assembly where we had discussed change. We talked about how our country can change through the democratic system we have in place. The children were keen to meet him and hear about his work.
Mr Afriyie told the children that he learnt from an early age that he needed to work hard and do well at school. He succeeded in his education and has been in the world of business until he decided he would like to become a Member of Parliament. The children asked a range of interesting questions to find out more about his views and work.
