Year 2 have had a busy few weeks! In Geography, we have been learning about our wonderful world. The children have been exploring different continents and researching facts about them that they could share with their peers.
In RE, we have been thinking about kindness. The children have drawn around and decorated their handprints with a promise of something they can each do to be kind.
We have had fun with paint in Art! The children have been colour mixing and then using tints to create a Paul Klee inspired painting.
In English, we have been exploring ‘A River’ by Marc Martin. The children have been using adjectives to describe some of the story settings.
In Maths, we have been revisiting our number bonds to 10 and 20. The children have been using tens frames and counters to help them identify all the different pairs.
